This is an acrylic on canvas panel I painted en plein air with my plein air group. It captures the movement of the clouds that morning with a funky take on the buildings in our little downtown area. I even put in the two now unused grain silos in the far distance. The little blue heron hung out with us all morning, so of course I had to put him into the painting.

Marcy Brennan is a multi-media artist, illustrator, and surface pattern designer. She has been painting her entire adult life part time but since retiring July 2021, she is now a full time professional artist.
