This is an oil painting done en plein air at a local park with a big pond that gets gorgeous water lilies several times a year. I love bottlebrush trees with their willowy leaves and long red brush looking blooms. It was fun painting the reflection of the trees in the pond.

Marcy Brennan is a multi-media artist, illustrator, and surface pattern designer. She has been painting her entire adult life part time but since retiring July 2021, she is now a full time professional artist.
